Programme Biogaz Europe 2017

We are delighted to announce the 2017 edition of Biogaz Europe which will be held in Rennes, from 25-26 January, for the first time organised alongside France’s largest event for water and water treatment, the Carrefour des Gestions Locales de l'Eau.

Rennes 2017 thus offers an unprecedented and most complete rendez-vous for the rising french biogas sector with a double appeal to both the agricultural and water treatment sectors!

Looking ahead to Biogaz Europe 2017, we fully anticipate:

  • 200+ international exhibitors and represented companies (see the list)
  • 7-8 000 professional visitors expected: nfarmers, agro-alimentary professionals, water treatment professionals, energy professionals, local authorities and policy makers, project developers etc.

For the very first time on Biogaz Europe, a dedicated area will host CNG (and BioCNG) vehicules, in front of the Exhibition Halls. A test drive circuit will be located next to it, to allow you to experience the pleasure of driving a gas powered car, in real life conditions.

Several vehicles for different types will be available:

  • The urban prototype UrbanEcoLib, being converted from an electric engine to CNG (project carried out by Lycée Ozanam)
  • A car running on BioCNG, produced by the agricultural biogas unit of GAEC de Grivée
  • A sedan, running on CNG/BioCNG, brought from Germany by Baur Folien
  • An urban car, displayed by GrDF
  • Two vans (Fiat Qubo and Fiat Doblo) used by Liger, producing its BioCNG on the Locminé territory near Rennes
  • A van used by La Tournée Verte, a low carbon transporting carrier
